Mr. George Strickland is a 8th degree black belt and Sr. Master Instructor of Strickland’s Taekwondo.  He has 35 years martial arts experience with 5 different organizations.

He is one of the co-founders of Taekwondo United a national co-op organization. 

He is a DAAB (Defense Against Aggressive Behavior) self defense and CCM (Criminal Counter Measures) instructor, conducting women’s self-defense courses as well children’s anti-abduction/anti bullying classes in both his school and several of the local grade schools.  You can read more about his bio on the about page.  His favorite quote is,

Mr. Conrad Vickroy is a 5th degree black belt Sr. certified instructor.  He is a graduate of the University of Texas, 1983 with a MBA - University of Texas,1990.  He began his Martial Arts training with USTA under Mr. Chuck Schmidtke in 1995.  He was the ITA state sparring champion in 2001.  He trained with "Fight Back America" in 2001.

He joined TA with Mr. Strickland in 2004 and is a current member of TU as well.

He has taught self-defense classes for women from 18 different countries.

His current focus is on developing teens as martial artists and successful leaders. 

His wife and 2 children have also achieved the rank of black belt.

Mrs. Juanita Clements is a 4th degree black belt Sr. certified instructor.  She began her training with Mr. Strickland in 2001.  She is the trainee coordinator of Strickland’s Tiger Team.  She is a DAAB instructor.  She has trained in Akido and is bilingual in Spanish.  She is a graduate of UNT College of Public Affairs and Community Service and is Active in youth programs and Honduras Mission with St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, trainer for Save Environment program Diocese of Fort Worth.  Her favorite quote is

“Be the change you want to see in the world!”

Mr. Drew Cain has been with Mr. Strickland for 13 years and is a 4th degree black belt and Sr. certified instructor at Strickland’s Martial Arts and Mr. Strickland’s chief assistant and manager.

Mr. Cain is also a Demo Team Co-ordinator, a DAAB and bully defense instructor, and a certified personal trainer. He is a recent graduate of UNT College of Education where he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology. In his free time he enjoys studying Motor Control and Motor Learning to further his knowledge to teach his students. His favorite quotes are,

“Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a hard one!” & “All that we achieve and all that we fail to achieve is a direct result of our own thought!”

Mr. Lloyd Woodard has been with Mr. Strickland for 8 years.  He is a 3rd Degree Black Belt Senior Certified Instructor.  He is a anti-bully instructor and has been with Strickland since the inception of the anti-bullying program in the local Middle and Elementary schools.  Mr. Woodard resides in Highland Village, is married, the father of three children, with his youngest attending Briarhill Middle School in the 6th grade. 

Mr. Woodard has a B.S. in Law Enforcement from Sam Houston State University and also an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.  Mr. Woodard currently owns and operates his own business as a Professional Numismatist. His favorite quote is, “What choices we ultimately make will determine how successful we are.  Keep reaching for the stars!”

Mr. Scott Hollon is a second degree senior black belt and Senior Certified instructor.

He began studying Taekwondo eight years ago when he moved to north Texas.

He is Latin american sales manager for a food equipment manufacturer and fluent in Spanish.  He is the father of three - all black belts ( a 3rd degree and two 2nd degree seniors) and two of them are instructor trainees on the Tiger Team.

Mr. Mike Wadkins is 8th degree Master of Taekwondo and a 3rd degree black belt in the art of Weeping Jujutsu.  He currently resides in Nashville Tennessee where he teaches Weeping Jujutsu at Roger Killen’s Taekwondo center. 

Mr. Pete Sorce is an Inayan Eskrima Katlungun Guru and a 6th degree Master of Taekwondo as well as a 2nd black belt in Danzan-Ryu-Jujitisu and a yoga instructor.  He has developed the Sorce Training System (STS) for Inayan Eskrima.  He teaches seminars all across the country and owns and operates Sorce Martial Arts in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

Mr. Allen Roholt is a Kadua Guro in the Inayan System of Eskrima.  He has studied the Inayan System of Eskrima since 2008 under Katulungan Guru Peter Sorce and Suro Jason Inay.  Kadua Guro Roholt moved to Texas in 2012.  He currently teaches the Inayan System of Eskrima in Frisco, TX.  

Mr. Rob McLean is a 7th degree Taekwondo master instructor and a Black belt in Nova Uniao Brazilian Jujutsu.  He is a personal trainer and co-founder of Raposa De Prada Submission grappling.  He currently resides in Saraland Alabama where he runs his school at McLean’s Martial Arts and Fitness. 

Mr. Steve Snyder is a 6th degree Master of Taekwondo.  He is a black belt rank in both Weeping Jujutsu and Brazilian Jujitsu.  He also hold rank in the Bill  ‘Superfoot ‘ Wallace System and the Joe Lewis Fighting System.  He currently resides in High Point North Carolina where he runs his High Point Martial Arts Training Center.

Mr. Harley Elmore is a gurur under Bruce Lee's protégé Dan Inosanto.  He is certified in Lee Jun Fan Gung fu/ Jeet Kune Do Concepts, Filipino Kali-Silat, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Indonesian Pentjak Silat and grappling/ground fighting. Mr. Elmore is also a Tuhon in Sayoc Kali, one of the most sought after blade systems in the world.  Mr. Elmore's Academy is also an Affiliate school in Bahala Na and the Giron Arnis-Eskrima system. He is Shinjutsu Kempo Karate and a Black Sash in Kuai Shou Pai Gung Fu.  Mr. Elmore teaches full time at his Warrior's Way martial arts academy in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He also heads an organization of Instructors called Warrior's Way International, a group dedicated to promoting the martial arts through quality instruction and providing a network system for individuals and schools alike.
